Enhancing Mental Health Through 3-Dimensional Public Art

This public art research project involves two colorful sculptures that will tour the WSU Pullman campus starting in the Spring of 2024 and continuing into the Fall of 2024. Public art improves environmental aesthetics and introduces vibrancy, movement, and cultural inclusiveness, creating an immersive experience that can evoke emotions. Given the demanding nature of academic life, this research explores the direct impact of 3-dimensional public art on students' mental health. The study aims to offer valuable insights into the importance of public art as a proactive approach to supporting students' mental health on campus. This project is set to be completed in the Fall of 2024.
